01 / USE CASES

Start with the communication flow

01

Remote expert assistance

Share the wearer’s view with a remote expert over a voice call. Annotations, work orders and recording are separate capabilities to confirm for the project.

02

Field inspection calls

Start a call during an inspection to help remote participants understand the site. Test lighting, motion, upstream connectivity and wearing position.

03

Communication across regions

Plan connection tests around device and application locations, including Wi-Fi, cellular networks and handovers. Evaluate quality against your use case.

02 / HOW IT CONNECTS

Connect the media path

01 / DEVICESmart hardware

Camera · microphone · speaker

02 / TRANSPORTRTC

Real-time voice & video

03 / APPLICATIONRemote application

Users · experts · operators

Device capture, authorization and application logic are implemented by the project system. SDK compatibility and service capabilities depend on the device and selected service.

03 / BEFORE INTEGRATION

Before integration,
check the essentials.

These details help establish feasibility and avoid repeated clarification.

  1. OS and SDK fit: confirm versions, CPU architecture, available interfaces and manufacturer restrictions.
  2. Media path: check camera output, audio input/output, microphone layout and echo-processing ownership.
  3. Resources and battery: measure how encoding and transmission affect power, temperature and runtime.
  4. Call flow: define who calls, who answers, whether multiple people join and what happens after a disconnect.

04 / SERVICE SCOPE

Define the scope

This solution covers RTC media communication. Hardware, OS, AR display, business applications and AI models remain with the relevant project owners. Device compatibility and features require confirmation.

05 / COST PLANNING

Prepare for a quote

Prepare active-device estimates, call duration, monthly call frequency, media settings and participant counts. Actual service terms determine billing; total units sold are not a substitute for usage.

06 / QUESTIONS

Common questions

Can any smart glasses integrate directly?

The device category alone is not enough. Verify OS, resources, media interfaces and SDK compatibility. Closed systems may need manufacturer support.

Can a browser receive the wearer’s video?

This is a use case to evaluate. Confirm device and browser compatibility, media formats and network conditions, then validate the complete path.

Is a fixed latency guaranteed?

A single figure without device and network conditions would be misleading. Measure capture, encoding, transport, decoding and display with documented conditions.
