01 / USE CASES

Start with the communication flow

01

On-site conversations

A remote participant listens and speaks through the robot. Evaluate speaker playback, body vibration and motor noise in real operating conditions.

02

Remote viewing and assistance

Deliver camera video to a business application so people can understand the scene. A media call is separate from motion and safety-control systems.

03

Human support in exceptions

A business system can initiate a conversation when human judgment is needed. Define permissions, queuing and how a session is ended.

02 / HOW IT CONNECTS

Connect the media path

01 / DEVICESmart hardware

Camera · microphone · speaker

02 / TRANSPORTRTC

Real-time voice & video

03 / APPLICATIONRemote application

Users · experts · operators

Device capture, authorization and application logic are implemented by the project system. SDK compatibility and service capabilities depend on the device and selected service.

03 / BEFORE INTEGRATION

Before integration,
check the essentials.

These details help establish feasibility and avoid repeated clarification.

  1. Confirm OS, CPU architecture and capture interfaces; distinguish existing video pipelines from new call functions.
  2. Define camera count, video resolution, audio I/O and the receiving application.
  3. Test echo, mechanical noise, Wi-Fi roaming, poor networks and reconnection while the robot is operating.
  4. Define device identity, user permissions and session lifecycle. Design business control separately from media transport.

04 / SERVICE SCOPE

Define the scope

The offer concerns RTC communication services. Navigation, motion control, emergency-stop systems, robotics algorithms and complete device development are outside the sales scope. Media transport is not a safety-control guarantee.

05 / COST PLANNING

Prepare for a quote

Separate always-online devices from active calls. Record camera streams, viewer counts, duration and media settings. Confirm charges for participants, recording and additional services in the quote.

06 / QUESTIONS

Common questions

Does RTC include remote driving?

It does not include a complete teleoperation system. RTC covers voice and video; command delivery, permissions, safety and device execution belong to the business and robotics systems.

Does an online robot always consume billable usage?

Online status, joining a session, publishing and receiving media are different states. Confirm how the selected product bills each state.

How should we evaluate poor networks?

Keep device and media settings comparable. Record packet loss, bandwidth, delay, handovers and recovery, alongside listening quality and objective statistics.
